In 2012, The Windmill Cafe offered a Monthly Movie Series that featured movies about food in which guests were served food from those specific movies.  The Windmill Cafe's creative and excellent dinners received some renown at the time, being highlighted in articles by the Santa Cruz Patch and Santa Cruz Sentinel.

Though we no longer offer these specialty meals to the public, you may request a Movie Dinner for your private event to treat your guests a well deserved evening of pleasure.  You may select from any of the dinners below or select a movie of your own.  Price will vary according to meal, cost of supplies, and number of guests. About the Movie Dinner Series

Have you ever seen a dish from a movie that looked so delicious you wanted to take it from the screen? Well, we did too. That's why The Windmill Cafe is offering Movie Dinner Series.

Come for an evening of dinner, and taste some of the most sensually delicious dishes you've seen on screen. Enjoy some of your favorite movies and taste what your watching as you are watching it. When a dish shown in the film, the movie will be paused so that you may taste the delicious dish as well.

All dinners served are roughly a four course meal.
